Rotomoulding markets are essentially
illustrated by water tanks and toys. Infact, in developing countries
like India, with inadequate water resources, rotomoulded water tanks
on terraces of buildings or smaller tanks conveniently placed in
the lofts of apartments, provide relief. Since capital cost for
investment is lower, these large water tanks or any other large
hollow part, provide an opportunity for rotomoulders to set up plants
across the country, thus saving higher transportation costs.
Toys are required to be developed in more different shapes or
models very frequently. Besides, high labour cost of assembling
toys confines toy manufacturing in the Asian region. Infact, China
has become the major supplier of toys globally. Other Asian countries
such as India could take the advantage of lower labour cost in increasing
toy manufacturing by rotomoulding process.
